Every year, cadets from 1015 Squadron get the chance to attend annual camp at a Royal Air Force station somewhere in the UK, and sometimes overseas.
Camp gives cadets a real taste of life on an active RAF station — visiting different sections, meeting serving personnel, and taking part in activities that aren’t always possible at squadron, from flying and adventurous training to sport and fieldcraft.
More senior cadets may also have the opportunity to attend an overseas camp, or take part in the International Air Cadet Exchange, travelling to meet cadets from partner air forces around the world.
Camps are a highlight of the cadet year — ask any member of staff or senior cadet about theirs, and you’ll hear some great stories.
